About

Women on the threshing floor

Women on the threshing floor is a non-denominational women intercessory ministry. Our model intercessor is Jesus Christ (1 Tim 2:5).

The move started in July 2010 as wailing women on the threshing floor : the Almighty God issued the call using the prophet Jeremiah “Thus saith the Lord of hosts, consider ye and call for the wailing women, That they may come and send for the skillful women that they may take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters” Jeremiah 9:17 & 18

In 2011, we became women on the threshing floor International ministry in the order of Micah 4:13“Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hooves brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: And I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth”.

We believe

Prayer can turn destinies around

We Believe the great people on earth today are the people who pray – not those who talk about prayer or those who say they believe in prayer, nor yet those who can make explanations about prayer, but those people who actually take out time to pray.

Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of adopting humility and claiming dependence upon God. Humility is a perfect quietness of heart to wonder at nothing.

Prayer can turn around destinies. Prayer gets to places you are not physically able to get to. Throwing random prayers to heaven doesn’t help. Your prayer must have energy inside it and must be intensely passionate.

We believe

Come let us pray! God is going to put His heart in you so that the praying ministry will be a blessing not a burden. Now is the time for women to come together and pray. Most people of faith know that prayer changes things but when do we actually spend time to pray or in prayer, considering our very busy schedules? For instance, the increasing demands of keeping the home, looking after the children and holding down a vibrant career are stretching many modern women to the breaking point. As a result of these, relationships, friendships and family bonds are being subjected to immense pressure. This is a place where we receive special grace and are equipped with the wisdom keys for refreshing – in our lives, homes, careers and businesses.

Our core values are: Persistence, consistence and passion. Women on the Threshing Floor was Founded by Pastor Liz Isola Who is the President of the Ministry. The Ministry has a Board of Directors who are changed every two years, Pillar Heads, Workforce

Partnership

“Whatever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord”(Eph 6:8) What we make happen for others, God will make happen for us. For every person who is saved, spirit-filled, healed or set free, a portion of that is credited to us in direct relation to our investment. That means when the ministry we’ve invested in grows – we grow! When the ministry prospers we prosper! We are co-labourers, co-workers and therefore co-receivers along with those into whom we’ve invested. The partnership program is the most crucial backbone of our work and it supports our monthly breakfast intercessory meetings, broadcasts, publishings, conference events and international outreach.
